In 2005, on the recommendation of a District Judge, David was granted the right to appear in the Higher Courts up to and including the Court of Appeal (Criminal Division). This gives him the right to regularly appear in the Crown Court in the same way as barristers do. David is the only solicitor based in Nuneaton qualified to appear before the Crown and Higher Courts as well as the Magistrates' Court. David is a member of the Solicitors Association of Higher Court Advocates (SACHA).
Most solicitor firms employ unqualified clerks to prepare Crown Court matters who then pass the file to a barrister to appear in Court. Our principal solicitor David Coyle, prefers to prepare the case himself. In this way he always has an in depth and thorough knowlege of his client's case.
The Crown Court deals with the more serious cases such as murder/manslaughter, sexual offences and serious violence. We work with the most respected and experienced Barristers to ensure that the client recieves first class representation in the Crown Court.
